Tomorrow

Well, tomorrow is the day we find out the due date, our first baby appointment! I'm not sure what all they are going to do but I do know that they have to stick me with a needle and draw some blood. Ugghhh..I'm not looking forward to that or some other routine things they do.

But I am looking forward to knowing when we will have the baby (or babies) and if there is more that one in there (which is Lennon's hope). Pray that all goes well and that I don't faint when I'm taking the blood test. I will be sure to post how it all goes :)

  1. I used to always faint when I got a shot or had blood drawn. Having kids has really toughened me up. They do stuff like that so much that you learn to deal with it. The first visit is probably the most exciting as well as the worst (in terms of everything you have to do). I've always anticipated that first visit! You finally get a few of your many questions answered - like the due date and who the father is. hahaha..just kidding. =)

I hope all goes well for you. Who's your doctor?

  2. you'll be fine. i'm not good with blood and needles. i just look away and think of that little being growing inside me.
i have to do that AGAIN in a couple of weeks...as well as drink some nasty drink. get ready for that.

just enjoy all the little moments. i'm sure the excitement will overtake you!

  4. i don't know about you, but at my first appointment, i bawled my eyes out to see that tiny fluttering heartbeat in my tummy. AND to find out that she was due on valentine's day! even though i didn't know she was a she yet... anyway. it's awesome. that's all i can tell you. i'm praying for you.

why in the world does lennon want it to be more than one?! i mean, that'd be way exciting, but normally dads are sorta scared at the thought of one. :)

ya'll are gonna be great parents.

  5. That would be so awesome to have twins. We wanted twins as well. 2 for 1 pregnancy. You can't beat that.

That first visit really is the hardest, until the last:)
